Development Environment

In order to provide a highly productive work environment, BDCOM has made substantial investments in technology and infrastructure. At present we have a rich mixture of hardware, operating systems, which are enabled with the latest versions of relevant software development tools, utilities, compilers and RDBMS.  

IT Infrastructure

Being one of the largest ISPs of Bangladesh, BDCOM has the state-of-the-art IT infrastructure with multiple Fiber Optic Backbone to connect its own different establishment and to the upstream. Power backup is ensured by long backup UPS and Automatic Generator in case of power failure. Centralized Data Backup System (CDBS) is neatly functional in BDCOM and monitored from Managerial Level.

All the objects of BDCOM are always online with adequate bandwidth consumption capacity. Instant email, Messenger Services, Skype, Video conference and, last but not least, the very low call rate Cellular service of Bangladesh are used for prompt communication world wide.

Domain

We undertake assignments involving re-engineering of business processes, design, development, testing, installation, training and maintenance of software systems for any organization.  Assignments could be either offshore development at their development center in Dhaka or it could be on-site at the client’s place.  We also undertake routine maintenance, process improvements, optimization and product enhancements for software systems already being used by the clients.   

Transparency

BDCOM has been using a Web based Project Management Software for publishing the transparent progress of any project to its Management and Clients. Clients are normally given the access to this software and ID for monitoring the project development stages.
